Another Clinton Supporter Doesn’t Agree With Her Position On Trade

This Morning, during an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) an early supporter of Hillary Clinton, announced the he would support Obama’s trade deal.

Sen. Warner was evasive when Bloomberg’s John Heilemann confronted him about Clinton’s flip-flop on the issue, refusing to answer the question twice.

This is the second Clinton supporter this week to disagree with her position on trade. On Sunday, potential Clinton VP Julian Castro at The Texas Tribune Festival said that he would be supporting Obama’s trade deal.

It’s clear with so many Democrats supporting this deal (which Clinton once called “the gold standard”), Clinton’s opposition is more evidence of her playing primary politics and protecting her left flank from Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
