The Latest Release Of Hillary Clinton’s Emails Dominates The Morning Shows

Last night the State Department released 7000 pages of Hillary Clinton’s emails from her time as Secretary of State. These emails revealed some disturbing details about Clinton’s time at State.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe panel found one email particularly disturbing. The email showed Clinton potentially trying to use her influence at State to steer business toward the Clinton Foundation, saying the Foundation had “unencumbered $.” You may recall that the Clinton Foundation has come under fire in recent months for accepting questionable donations.

CNN’s Elise Labott reported, “Once again in these e-mails we get a sense of her [Hillary Clinton] close relationship with former Clinton advisor Sidney Blumenthal, who is constantly sending her advice about various issues.”

ABC’s Martha Raddatz reported on the classification status of Clinton’s emails: “Clearly officials now think some information being discussed over her [Hillary Clinton] private email server at the time contains information that certainly should be.”

While the Clinton campaign continues to claim that everyday Americans don’t care about the private email server, to which Bloomberg’s John Heilemann says, “When the FBI is investigating something those aren’t good words for any Presidential candidate.”

According to NBC’s Chuck Todd, Bill Clinton is starting to get annoyed that more surrogates aren’t out defending Hillary Clinton.

With only 25% of Hillary Clinton’s emails having been released so far this story doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon, despite what the Clinton campaign would have you think.
