Pressed Repeatedly, Clinton Refuses To Ask For More Debates

During today’s interview on CNN’s Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, Hillary Clinton refused to call on the DNC to offer more than the 6 debates that are scheduled.

Clinton said:

“I want us to have a good exchange of ideas and to make sure Democratic voters first, and then general voters to follow, see exactly what we stand for and what our positions are …”

And yet despite her desire to everything listed above, Clinton won’t simply ask the DNC for more debates. In 2008, Democrats held 26 debates.

At another point in the interview, Clinton was asked about her email controversy and laughed off the question:

And Clinton also dodged when asked what her top accomplishment was as Secretary of State, instead saying Blitzer should read her book:
