Hillary Clinton’s Lastest, Disastrous National TV Interview

Hillary Clinton decided that the Friday before Labor Day weekend was the perfect time to sit down with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell for only her third national television interview since launching her campaign five months ago.

The interview was nothing short of disastrous.

Mitchell spent the first 10 minutes of the interview asking Hillary Clinton about her private email server. Clinton refused to apologize to the American public for her choice to use a private email server not once, but twice.

Clinton’s excuse for having the server: “You know, I was not thinking a lot when I got in. There was so much work to be done. We had so many problems around the world. I didn’t really stop and think what kind of e-mail system will there be. I just didn’t.”

When Mitchell confronted Clinton about a recent Quinnipiac poll where the first words that came to people’s minds when asked about Clinton were liar, dishonest and, untrustworthy, Clinton responded: “Well, it certainly doesn’t make me feel good.”

The immediate reaction to Clinton’s interview was not favorable.

Democratic Strategist Bob Shrum said “Clinton sounded too lawyerly.”
