Conway Can’t Take The Heat During The KY Gov Debate

During tonight’s debate Conway was asked if he would stand up for KY coal:

But Conway conveniently left out his history of taking money from anti-coal activists like the Sierra Club and Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid who said “coal makes us sick,” his previous support for Obama’s cap and trade plan, and his support for the commander of the war-on-coal, Obama himself, during both the 2008 and 2012 conventions.

Then, when asked about where he stands on a sexual harassment lawsuit his running mate is involved in, Conway says that he … has a female dog:

QUESTION: “Attorney General Conway as you know this summer Frankfurt Lawmakers were forced to settle a lawsuit, a sexual harassment lawsuit after allegations were made against a member of your party. During your time in Frankfurt what have you done to make the Capital a safer workplace for women? And what more needs to be done?”
CONWAY: “Gosh let me count the ways that we’ve made the state a better place for women. Let me say first of all that issue is one for the general assembly. Okay that really didn’t have anything to do with the office of the Attorney General. Now the Kentucky State Police certainly looked into it. They did an investigation with a former LRC director. There was a settlement. But I can tell you this. When I became Attorney General I think half of my directors were women. My first chief-deputy was a woman. I’m married to a strong professional woman in Elizabeth Davenport Conway. I’ve got two little girls, I’ve even got a female dog, they’ve got me surrounded.”
