Following Charlie Crist’s announcement that he intends to run in Florida’s 13th Congressional district, already-declared Democrat Eric Lynn has vowed to stay in the race. Crist has yet to make the announcement and is waiting to see if conditions can guarantee him a win, so he can avoid yet another electoral embarrassment. Adamant about running, Lynn said he wouldn’t be pushed aside for Crist.
Unlike Alex Sink, Crist doesn’t look like he can clear the field for the Democratic nomination. Now, much to the chagrin of the Democratic Party, they’re looking at another heated primary in a must-win seat.
