Meet Ann Kirkpatrick: Partisan Democrat

Ann Kirkpatrick has tried to paint herself as a bipartisan member of Congress. In her video announcing she’s running for Senate, she says she’s “putting Arizona first.” And while that all sounds great, her record tells another story.

Since arriving in DC in 2009, Kirkpatrick has voted in favor of ObamaCare and the stimulus. She supported ending tax cuts for middle class Americans, and opposed the Keystone XL pipeline.

During her tenure, Kirkpatrick has seen her own voting record get more and more partisan. Since January, Kirkpatrick has voted with Democrats 92% of the time. She even voted to support Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker and has voted with her 83% of the time.

So while Kirkpatrick claims she’s “independent,” she can’t shake her own record of failing Arizona.
