Nobody’s Quite Sold On Clinton Yet

The hosts of Hillary Clinton’s events in Iowa and New Hampshire want her to face primary competition. Today in New Hampshire, the manager of the Mill where Clinton staged a roundtable “discussion” told New York Times reporter Amy Chozick: “Someone should jump in and give her a little competition.”

Last week in Iowa, Clinton attempted to woo bowling alley owner Bryce Smith, who wasn’t so sure about supporting Clinton. Asked if he would support Clinton, Smith replied, “I think so, but I would really like to hear from every candidate who’s going to run.”

And of course the attorney from Clinton’s announcement video told CBS News that he wants to see a primary as well. “I think it’s better for the candidates, it’s better for the voters to get a whole array of opinions, and I think it’s better for Iowa,” he said.
