White House Now Wants To Lead From Anywhere But Behind On National Security

Still haunted by a description of the Obama-Clinton foreign policy of “leading from behind” from a top adviser, the White House is overcompensating.

Releasing its new “National Security Strategy,” the White House is placing an emphasis on the word “lead,” literally bolding the word at six different points in the document’s introduction.
