Bustos Recycles Failed Bill To Highlight Her Own Ineffectiveness

Today, ineffective Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos announced she’s introducing a new bill—the Government Waste Reduction Act.

What does this exciting “new” bill do? It expands our already wasteful government bureaucracy by creating a 15-member board that would tell Congress what it should already be doing—limiting the size of government.

And the kicker? It’s exactly the same as a bill she introduced in 2013 that went nowhere! Great job, Bustos!

As exciting as this vertically-shot video is, it’s just another example of how ineffective Bustos has been for Illinois. For reference, here’s a list of 10 other bills she introduced in the 113th Congress that gained no traction with her colleagues.
