Americans Send Clear Message: We Like Keystone XL

A new CNN poll shows a majority of Americans support the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. Of the 1,011 Americans surveyed, 57% support construction while just 28% oppose it.

The project has cleared several hurdles recently including gaining support in Congress and approval from the Nebraska Supreme Court. It’s the rare project that has support among America’s labor unions and business community.

That notwithstanding, President Obama continues to say he will veto a bill that approves construction—a move that flies in the face of the American peoples’ wishes.

Maybe that’s why the President’s approval rating is far below support for Keystone? With the public solidly supporting construction, Keystone opponents Harry Reid, Kyrsten Sinema, Ann Kirkpatrick, Scott Peters and others should take note or risk facing the wrath of unhappy voters.
