Hillary Clinton is adding yet another bizarre speaking gig to her growing list of appearances that have added money to her personal wealth and bad press to her looming presidential campaign.
This latest event, held in Winnipeg, is being put on by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), because, populism!
As it turns out, CIBC is under federal investigation for helping wealthy Americans hide income offshore and evade taxes.
CIBC’s Caribbean subsidiary FirstCaribbean International Bank was one of ten banks named in a June 2014 listing of financial institutions under criminal investigation for helping Americans evade taxes in their offshore accounts.
Will Clinton be demanding her usual $300,000 and crudité/diet ginger ale she insists upon at other events from CIBC?
