Since news broke of Mark Warner’s involvement in the Virginia judgeship scandal, he’s taken great pains to avoid the press.
That included a Washington Post reporter who tried asking Warner about his new ad—the very ad the Washington Post said “plays sleight of hand with words” and received the dreaded “3 Pinocchios” for being false.
It’s an open question whether Warner has any plans to talk to the press for the next two weeks leading up to Election Day, but it’s starting to get embarrassing.
