During an interview with MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt this morning, Mark Udall, who has voted with President Obama 99% of the time, hilariously claimed he’s been a “thorn” in Obama’s side for the last six months.
Six months, you say? It just so happens that about 7 months ago, Udall’s opponent, Cory Gardner, announced he was running against him.
If it wasn’t clear why Udall suddenly reversed course and started taking a “thornier” approach to working with President Obama, it should be now, as Udall is fighting for his political life in a race that was just rated a “toss-up.”
