FLASHBACK: Harry Reid Praises Mark Pryor’s Leadership Role In ObamaCare Deal

Back in 2009, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid needed two senators to help build consensus and support to pass ObamaCare. He turned to Chuck Schumer and Mark Pryor.

Pryor stood proudly next to the two liberal senators as they declared ObamaCare a “win” for the American people.

“I asked Senator Schumer and Pryor to work together with a group of moderates and progressives. Everyone thought, ‘It’s an impossible job.’ But these two fine senators have done an outstanding job of leading these two groups of people.”

What followed Pryor’s leadership role in passing ObamaCare was 35,000 Arkansans lost health care coverage because of the disastrous law.

Congratulations, Mark!
