Locked in a tough fight for reelection, New Hampshire Democrat Ann Kuster has been trying to distance herself in recent weeks from President Obama and his failed agenda, which he has proudly proclaimed is “on the ballot” this November.
Last week, Kuster has laughably claimed she’s “taken some votes, frankly, that are controversial in Washington for standing up to the president.”
Now today, Kuster is actually trying to play up her “Republican roots” in an interview on WMUR.
Reality check: Kuster has voted with President Obama 87% of the time—evidence that her Republican roots died long ago.
