John Foust is the Democrat running for Congress in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.
1. Foust Raised Taxes And Spending As A County Supervisor
Over the entirety of Foust’s tenure on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, Foust has voted for budgets that increased spending by 12.73% and increased the real estate tax rate by 22.5%. Foust event supported an $80 million tax on meals purchased at restaurants.
2. Foust Called ObamaCare “Clearly A Good Thing”
Despite the news that ObamaCare will cause over 250,000 people to lose their health coverage, Foust has called it “clearly a good thing” and supports fixing and not repealing ObamaCare.
3. Foust Will Support Nancy Pelosi For Speaker
Pelosi has campaigned for John Foust and touted him as a “top-notch” candidate for Democrats. Foust will vote for Pelosi for Speaker and has received $14,000 from Pelosi. He even touts being recruited by Washington Democrats to run for Congress.
4. Foust Supports A Liberal Agenda, Supporting Cap-And-Trade And Opposing Right-To-Work
While on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, Foust voted for a plan that would create a cap-and-trade system in Virginia. Foust also voted against a resolution supporting Virginia’s status as a “Right-to-Work” state.
