Yesterday, nvdaily.com issued a correction for a statement about Mark Warner that has been proven to be true by PolitiFact. The correction stated:
“A story about the Hob Nob political rally in Saturday’s newspaper should have said that U.S. Sen. Mark Warner favored tax reform, not tax increases, as a way of reducing the national debt.”
Well, it turns out that Warner has supported more than $1 trillion in tax hikes. Oops!
In fact, Warner has established a pretty clear pattern of supporting tax hikes, especially those on small businesses through his support of ObamaCare.
So while Warner’s support for tax hikes may not come as a surprise to Virginians, the correction in nvdaily.com likely did.
