Mary Landrieu is a serial private flyer and she loves doing it on the taxpayers’ dime.
New documents recently uncovered suggest taxpayers footed a bill of nearly $18,000 for nine campaign stops, in which Mary Landrieu raked in more than $80,000, between 2000 and 2008.
That might be why Landrieu did not meet her own deadline of September 8 for the results of her internal investigation into the multiple flights she took as Senator in 2012 and 2013 that taxpayers paid for – which is against the law. Landrieu originally called the flights a “mistake,” saying the charter company was to blame.
It looks like this wasn’t a mistake.
