In the midst of a global crisis surrounding the terrorist militant group ISIS in the Middle East, the Boston Herald is reporting that Jeanne Shaheen skipped multiple Senate Foreign Relations hearings.
Key among the missed meetings was an April 11, 2013 meeting focused on ISIS that underscored “the danger this group poses for Syria and the world,” according to the Herald.

Records also show Shaheen didn’t show up for full committee hearings on counterterrorism policies, U.S. policy toward Iran and a host of others involving security and foreign policy.
Shaheen, who votes with President Obama 99% of the time, has missed 23 committee hearings over the last four years.
