Liberal Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren loves her some Alison Lundergan Grimes. At an event in Washington DC this morning, Warren had this to say about Grimes:
“Alison Lundergan Grimes, man, she’s tough. And she’s good. And she’s smart. And she’s good on the issues.”
It’s not hard to imagine what Warren means by “good on the issues.” Warren has supported the push for tougher gun control restrictions, earning her an “F” rating from the NRA. She also supports two issues Grimes has pretended to oppose: ObamaCare and EPA regulations on the coal industry.
Grimes welcomed Warren with open arms at an event in Kentucky this summer. While she tried to sidestep Warren’s liberal positions at that event, Warren is making it harder for Grimes to conceal that she would be an Obama/Reid rubber stamp like Warren in the Senate.
