3 Things A U.S. Senator Should Never Say About 9/11

Speaking at an event in 2007, Business Insider is reporting Mark Udall made 3 comments no U.S. Senator should ever say about what happened on September 11, 2001. Udall did not immediately reject “Truther” conspiracy theories while entertaining some questions about what “really” happened on 9/11. See below for the 3 most ridiculous statements:

1. “I think that the key point here is regardless how the buildings came down, we were attacked on 9/11, we were attacked.”

2. [Repeating question] “There’s some evidence that were charges planted in the buildings that brought them down.”

3. “I would tell you this, I think we should exhaust every possibility to understand what happened whether there was a structural incident.

Even giving Udall the benefit of the doubt, by 2007, these statements should have been completely rejected out of hand by an elected official like Udall.
