The headlines this weekend were not friendly to Democrat Illinois Governor Pat Quinn…
Chicago Tribune: A federal grand jury has subpoenaed emails from Quinn’s former chief of staff in connection to the criminal probe of Quinn’s scandal-plagued anti-violence initiative that had a price tag of $54.5 million.
Quinn’s botched anti-violence initiative provided mentoring and a state-funded part-time job to an individual who was later arrested for being the “alleged mastermind” of a burglary ring.
Chicago Sun-Times: Quinn’s former transportation secretary is claiming that Quinn’s office pushed for “filling non-political positions with political hires.”
