Several of Michelle Nunn’s latest campaign ads claim that she ran “the world’s largest volunteer organization.”
The only problem? PolitiFact has rated that claim as “mostly false.”
In fact, “the world’s largest volunteer organization” is actually the Red Cross.
Nunn is embellishing her non-profit record for quick sound bites rather than running ads based on the truth. Meanwhile, Nunn’s true non-profit experience involves laying-off 90 employees while her own compensation more than doubled to $300,000.
