Gary Peters’ “portfolio full of blue chip stocks” is showing off his hypocrisy as he talks one way, but invests his own money another way.
Peters has been speaking out against pet coke in Detroit for a while, but Peters owns between $15,001 and $50,000 worth of stock in Total S.A., a French multinational oil and gas company.
As reported by the Detroit News, Total S.A.’s refinery in Port Arthur, Texas produces pet coke, the very substance Peters has decried.
