Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s coziness with Obama, Harry Reid, and the Democrat establishment may be to thank for her tanking poll numbers. An editorial in Fosters says Shaheen – who voted with Obama 99% of the time in 2013 – “seems better suited to the tea-and-crumpet crowd — wholly faithful to her party and the president.”
In response to Shaheen’s claims to a crowd that she’s “frustrated by obstructionism in Washington” and has “been working hard to try and change that,” the authors reply, “Really? Then Sen. Shaheen, how about calling your Democratic Majority Leader in the Senate, Harry Reid, onto the carpet.”
