Mark Udall Stays On Obama’s Good Side, Votes Against The Keystone Pipeline

Today, Mark Udall showed the voters of Colorado once again that he will side with environmentalists and Obama over jobs. As reported by The Denver Post:

“But on Wednesday the Colorado Democrat was forced, once again, to pick sides in the fight over the Keystone pipeline — an issue that has stalked his re-election campaign for months.

A self-proclaimed moderate, Udall has tried to court both environmentalists and the energy industry as he attempts to win a second term against U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner, R-Yuma.

During Wednesday’s debate on the issue, Udall did not speak — other than to cast a “no” vote against the project.”

If there was any question where Udall stands on other energy issues, such as natural gas drilling in Colorado, this should answer those questions. Udall has cheered the EPA’s new regulations and voted against jobs and energy security by officially voting against the Keystone pipeline.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to Colorado voters, Udall is a liberal that votes with Obama 99 percent of the time and doesn’t care about jobs or energy security.
