Democrat Rep. John Conyers has been in Congress for nearly 50 years. He knows the rules for qualifying for the ballot. Or at least he should.
The Detroit News is reporting Conyers’ petition circulators either did not register to vote in Michigan or did so too late, putting Conyers’ signatures, and tenure in Congress, in jeopardy.
A final decision about the validity of Conyers’ signatures will come Wednesday.
