Over the weekend, The Boston Globe ran a front page story examining just how much of a partisan liberal Jeanne Shaheen has been since she went to Washington, D.C. Here’s what the Globe found:
But since she rode that reputation to the US Senate five years ago, she has assembled a voting record that is practically indistinguishable from the Senate’s most partisan Democrats.
A vote analysis earlier this year found Shaheen voted with Obama 99 percent of the time in 2013. And now another examination shows Shaheen voting on strict partisan lines. With that record, it’s going to be difficult for Shaheen to say she has been anything but a liberal Democrat for the past five years.
