Yesterday Mike Obermueller, who is running for the House in Minnesota’s 2nd District, released a new ad called “Dance Party,” that criticizes his opponent John Kline for opposing ObamaCare. The ad features business professionals dancing (like fools, frankly). The idea is that they’re insurance industry types, celebrating the death of ObamaCare.
What Obermueller doesn’t seem to realize is that it’s the people of Minnesota who will be celebrating ObamaCare’s repeal, as 54% disapprove of the health care law.
But Obermueller wanted to go even further. Back in 2008 he expressed support for a “uniquely American single-payer system.” If ever there were an example of a candidate being out of step with the electorate, Mike Obermueller is it.
