While speaking at a candidate forum, New Mexico Democrat gubernatorial candidate Alan Webber attacked America’s first female Hispanic Governor, Susana Martinez, by saying “We need to send her back to wherever she really came from. I suspect it’s Texas.” (h/t Weekly Standard)
Webber’s comment is not only brazenly rude, it also comes up short as Webber didn’t move from Boston to New Mexico until 2003. On the other hand, Martinez has lived in New Mexico for 28 years.
In case Webber was wondering, Boston is 2,000 miles and 2 time zones from Santa Fe.
