Politico reports that in the one election the Clintons are definitely watching tonight, Democrats rejected their favored candidate and extended family member, Marjorie Margolies. And it wasn’t even close.
Margolies, a former congresswoman who lost her seat in 1994 after voting for Bill Clinton’s budget, was trying to win it back with the Clintons’ support. Yet despite the fact that Hillary held a fundraiser for her, and Bill hit the stump and cut an ad for her, Margolies got crushed in tonight’s Pennsylvania 13th congressional district primary.
Instead, this guy won in a landslide.
