Jeanne Shaheen Dismisses Constituent’s Complaints About ObamaCare

Jeanne Shaheen loves ObamaCare and she’s not going to let constituents whose premiums have gone up get in the way of that. Shaheen was on WKBK’s Good Morning With Dan Mitchell radio show in New Hampshire when a caller called up to express his concerns about ObamaCare.

CALLER: “President Obama’s health care is not affordable. It’s cost me more, my deductible has more than tripled and my monthly premium has doubled, so it’s not affordable.”

Shaheen dismissed the caller, saying “that doesn’t sound right to me” and that there was a lot of “misinformation” out there about ObamaCare.

SHAHEEN: “If you leave your name with them, my office will call you back because that doesn’t sound right to me. It sounds, and there’s a lot of misinformation about what’s happening with the health care law, so we’ll get back in touch with you, we’ll find out what’s going on with your plan, and we’ll help you sort that out because you shouldn’t be paying that much more.”

Shaheen’s immediate dismissal of her constituent’s complaint and suggestion that he’s the victim of ignorance to the facts shows a senator out of touch with New Hampshire voters.
