President Obama is praising Jeanne Shaheen, saying she “has been a terrific senator.”
“Jeanne Shaheen has been a terrific senator, just like she was a great governor.”
It makes sense that Obama would praise Shaheen, since she voted with him 99 percent of the time in 2013. Obama’s praise might not help Shaheen in New Hampshire though, where 52 percent of voters disapprove of Obama’s job performance while only 40 percent approve.
