Q Poll: In No State Do Voters Say Clinton’s Honest And Trustworthy

A new Quinnipiac poll released this morning shows Hillary Clinton is slipping. In Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania—three key swing states in every presidential race—Clinton’s support is significantly less today than it was prior to her email scandal breaking earlier this month.

Clinton trails Jeb Bush in Florida 45-42. In Ohio, her margin slipped from 7 points to 5 since February. And in Pennsylvania, Clinton trails Rand Paul 45-44.

Perhaps the most brutal analysis came from Quinnipiac:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s margins are down in matchups with possible 2016 Republican presidential candidates in three critical swing states, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, and in no state do voters say she’s honest and trustworthy, but she still runs best overall of any candidate, according to a Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released today.

And as Cleveland.com notes:

But the margins of victory for Clinton, who won the 2008 Democratic primary in Ohio but lost the nomination to then-Sen. Barack Obama, are seen as slipping in this latest swing-state poll by Quinnipiac University.

And the Miami Herald headline for Clinton is no better:

“Quinnipiac poll: Hillary Clinton less popular than she used to be in Florida”

One thing is clear from this Quinnipiac poll: Hillary Clinton did a great job damaging her own favorable ratings.
