UPDATE: According to Politico’s Mike Allen, Clinton allies are worried about her avoiding debates in the Democrat presidential primary:
It’s possible she doesn’t even debate during the nomination race (in itself, worrisome to some of her top allies).
Politico is reporting that Hillary Clinton is considering not even participating in Democratic primary debates, opting instead to go with a coronation strategy like the one that worked so well for her in 2008.
The potential opposition is so weak that Clinton might wind up not even debating during the primaries, which many Democrats view as a mixed blessing.
After dropping oppo on potential opponents in a hypocritical fashion, Clinton now intends to avoid meeting them in person on a debate stage.
