Legendary Watergate Reporters Aren’t Buying Clinton’s Email Story

Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward are famous for breaking the Watergate scandal back in the ’70s. Now, both reporters are joining the growing chorus of people calling the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server a big deal.

On Sunday Bernstein was on CNN, where he said of Clinton’s debate performance: “I don’t think a reset was successfully hit, we’re still back to these basic questions about her truthfulness, about her server, about the foundation, about the FBI investigation. And it’s all one story that is not going to go away.”

The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward compared Clinton’s use of private email server to Richard Nixon’s White House tapes, and said an FBI investigation is nothing to laugh about.
